Whilst sporting pursuits do not come naturally to me, I know and feel the benefits of movement and practice daily strength training programmes as well as meditation.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN?
Time spent with my husband, our two sons and the extended family is deeply cherished. The boys currently enjoy building train tracks and lego towers, and it is always fun to see their daily achievements and how proud they are of their creations! Friendships are of utmost importance to me, and nothing beats a good conversation with friends, be that face to face or over the phone.
WHAT DO YOU TO UNWIND & RELAX?
Music has always played a huge part in my life too, and it’s something I always turn to, no matter what the situation – I am often heard humming or singing along to something!
FAVOURITE BOOK & WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT?
I always have two or three books on the go – usually one in Welsh, one in English and one from the self-development genre. It is too hard to pick a favourite! Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams and Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo currently stand out as ones I would recommend. I also recently enjoyed 10% Happier by the journalist Dan Harris.
FAVOURITE FOOD & WHY ?
An easy question – Welsh Cawl with some lovely warm bread!
FAVOURITE BAND / SINGER ?
This is by far the hardest question! It depends entirely on the mood. I love ABBA, Queen, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Carly Simon, Classical Music of all sorts… and I have fond memories of dancing around with my sister in our bedrooms with our hairbrushes singing along to S Club 7 and the Spice Girls!
